I'm confused what you could possibly mean by this. How does the Bishop of Rome not support the students here? The official position of the Church, through the bishop, is that Biden should not be invited. Are you referring to the Sanders invitation? The Vatican has made clear the pope had absolutely nothing to do with that invitation, and even still that invitation dealt with a conference on one specific issue, the economy, not a general platform where one might think the Church is indifferent to his position on abortion.

May Our Lady help to change the Notre Dame hearts that need some humility...

As a 2013 ND Law grad, I'm with you 100%! Thank you for standing for the BEST of Our Lady's university. We can rebuild ND's Catholic character, though prayer and hard work.

If you want to make a statement to the University, you can direct your donation to one of the groups mentioned above. Send a letter stating why you are supporting the student groups. This is a positive way to assist the students who are trying to make a difference on campus. Let's not desert them! Every year the Identity Project organizes an incredible conference, The Edith Stein Project, which promotes an intellectual discussion on the Dignity of the Human Person. I encourage you to attend or support this effort, since the University does not give them any publicity. The conference was praised by the late Bishop John D'Arcy.

Praying for Our Lady's administration to realize the true Catholic values they are accountable to uphold. In Jesus name we pray.

I am in support of open discussion of divergent views on many difficult topics. However, I am against any person, Catholic or not, being honored for taking positions strongly opposed to Catholic moral doctrine

Please honor leaders who live their faith, not "cafeteria Catholic politicians". Joe Biden is no Thomas More.

Joe Biden in his visit to China as US VP had a Christian Duty to object to the one child policy of the Communist government that results in forced abortions. Instead he said "I have no problem " with your one child policy. This is not Christian, let alone Catholic!

Unbelievable. How can ND be considered a Catholic University? I expect donations to decline.
