Muslims in Cockburn Central Area are desperately seeking allocation of worship place where they can get together for congregational prayers. Nearest place from this area are in Rockingham and Southern River hence both are far away from Cockburn district. Majority of these Muslims belongs to Sunni. This is group have objective to spread peace and harmony in community by obeying the commands of Allah and prophets, serving the humanity; act and show love to humanity by following the paths of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him).
Getting this petition signed by Muslims in this area will show the strength of community and will provide a robust justification for the application to council.

I am finalizing the formal proposal document to present to the city council members. This draft outlines the specific distance challenges residents face when traveling to Rockingham or Southern River for prayer. Once the submission is filed I will provide an update regarding the next scheduled meeting for public testimony.

I live in thornlie. The thornlie and southern river mosque is always full. It would be good to have another mosque close by
We need this facility as there is no facility for religious congregations between southern river n Rockingham.
