A beautiful mosaic of ancient religions, cultures and languages in the Middle East is being systematically destroyed.We petition Prime Minister David Cameron to recall Parliament for the government to debate a proper response to the Iraq crisis at which ISIS' genocidal actions are the forefront.We ask that Prime Minister Cameron consider Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali's proposals as laid out in the Sunday Telegraph dated 10/08/2014 and that he bring these before Parliament.

I am currently consolidating the signatures to submit as part of a formal briefing for the Prime Minister's office. My next step involves sending a detailed inquiry to the Foreign Office to determine if they will formally address the proposals from Bishop Nazir-Ali.

DO SOMETHING NOW. Parliament needs to get back and actually discuss this. It is a genocide right in front of our eyes.
Why is the government so quiet on this? Innocent people are losing everything and my government is doing nothing. Shameful.
Heartbreaking to watch this on the news every night. We cannot just sit back and watch history get wiped out by these monsters.
Read the telegraph article this morning. Totally agree with the Bishop. We need a real plan instead of just talk.

My heart goes out to the families over there. Its terrifying what is happening to those communities. Please help them.
