To the House of Commons in Parliament Assembled:
We the undersigned, citizens of Canada, draw the attention of the House to the
following:
1. The Ancient Yezidi People have suffered terribly at the hands of ISIS and need our help.
2. We are deeply grateful to our righteous Canadian government for its help to the Yezidi and other People under attack from Islamist terrorists.
Therefore, your petitioners call upon Parliament to:
Provide military air cover and equipment to help the Yezidis stranded on
Mt. Sinjar, bring to Canada as refugees, some of the Yezidis who have
been captured, raped, enslaved, and others who have survived their loved
ones being killed, rescue women and children who were captured and
enslaved by ISIS, and increase, with the greatest possible urgency our
Canadian efforts to help the Yezidi People as well as the Kurds,
Chaldo-Assyrians, Mandeaeans, Bahai, Shebak, Turkomen and others under ISIS
attack.

I think we can afford to try to help them; we cannot afford to ignore the plight of people like these.
What is being done to these people is horrific - I hope that people hear about it and sign this petition.

ISIS is like a nightmare but many can't wake up. We are fortunate that so far we can.
