I was opposed to legal marijuana and am opposed to any neighbor smoking/growing it as it STINKS UP MY YARD...for sure opposed to longer retail hours.

We voted for legalization of marijuana dispensaries in Colorado. With that includes legal and responsible use of products. Any business which disrupts the quality of life in our neighborhoods MUST be responsible to ALL neighbors affected by business activities.

OPPOSED: We live within 50 yards of THREE marijuana shops at 38th and Clay. We have constant foot traffic and strangers hanging out in their cars (IN FRONT OF OUR HOME) smoking pot all day long as it is. It is taking the Family out of the family neighborhood. Councilman Lopez says "it's not outrageous to keep them open until 10pm.” well I want him to bring his families children over for a BBQ in our front yard and see how much Marijuana smell and strangers he is willing to feel comfortable with. It would be fine if it were downtown, or in a shopping center, but not in a neighborhood. It is not right. it is unsafe and degrading our neighborhood. Please do not allow the pot shops tempting tax revenue to persuade your moral judgment. Please do the right thing and say NO to extending the PotShops operating hours.

I have a home on a corner lot and can't begin to count how many stoned and/or drunk drivers have almost hit my house in Highland these past 25 years. Parking and congestion continues to be a huge problem throughout the city and extending hours to these shops is a negative impact to what is a normal, child friendly neighborhood. I voted against Amendment 64 knowing it would increase crime and intrusion on my lungs publicly.

It seems that many neighbors and most neighborhoods would be affected since we have plenty of pot shops in Northwest Denver. I think extended hours would be much too intrusive for folks who live close by.

There are 3 shops at clay and 38th within 100 feet of each other. Extended hours will make a congested area during the day unbearable at night.

Keeping pot shops away from schools does NOT protect the residents who live next door to "dispensaries". Do not extend pot shop hours.

I live in West Highlands and oppose the extended hours proposal for the reasons listed in the petition.
