On behalf of the many voiceless Muslims, Christians and Indigenous peoples in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), we appeal to our lawmakers to support our call for the immediate postponement of the upcoming ARMM elections. Elections in the ARMM are always determined by the traditional and warlord politicians who use Goons, Guns and Gold to cling to power. It has never been truly reflective of the real sentiments of the people who want to vote freely for effective, ethical and empowering government leaders who will bring peace, progress and development in ARMM. Voluminous cases of ghost or flying voters, massive vote buying, harassment, electoral violence in the ARMM election are the order of the day. The Maguindanao massacre is a product of the kind of culture and environment that is presently found in the ARMM. We believe that the postponement of the ARMM election is a decisive and very much needed step to institute immediate political and electoral reforms. We are not for hold over capacity; we are for leadership and system change. We appeal to our good Senators to uphold the will of majority of the ordinary Filipinos in ARMM by supporting the postponement of the ARMM elections! Postpone elections in ARMM! Push for immediate reforms!

The momentum we have built proves that the people are finally fed up with the warlords and their cycle of electoral violence. The politicians can no longer ignore this push for a total overhaul of this broken system.

The system is totally broken. Just look at what happened in Maguindanao. We need change before another election happens.

Enough with the violence and cheating every time. We deserve real leaders who actually care about the people and not just their own power. Postpone it.
