Postpone the Vote for the 2017 Capital Improvement Plan

I support the move to postpone the vote. We need more answers to the questions posed.

I voted for the first plan thinking it was in the best interest of the club, despite impact to the men’s grill. As the new plan removes the men’s grill I am not as supportive. Instead of this plan I would appreciate a simple yes/no on removing the men’s grill. If that is the desire of my fellow members I will be supportive of this plan. Without that understanding I believe we are combining many issues in this one vote – good and bad – and will have a difficult time obtaining a clear direction forward.

Is the men's locker room part of the proposed modified renovation? The current facilities are not acceptable and should be addressed. Thank you.

I dont understand why no discussion or question and answer period was allowed. It seems the board is not following the wishes of the membership

I too, am worried about the rush job and lack of study on impact on dining and membership

Another question. what will the revenue loss be from dining and functions due to the construction.

I am adamantly opposed to not only the proposal, but also to the manner in which it has been handled. I think we need a new Board.

I will probably leave the club if there is another assessment. The board had its opportunity and it failed. The current budget should be able to include minor upgrades like this. Assessments are the ease way out.

Also, long time members get to vote but WOCC is not requiring them to pay if it passes. That's why the vote was so close the first time. This is wrong. It should be "No pay, no say, no vote"

Good idea. Can't hurt to get more input. What's the rush?

We feel a lot can be done to improve the existing facilities without having to spend capital dollars. The board should challenge themselves and the area managers to develop ideas/events/sales to excite the members to spend more time and money at the club.

Thank you so much for organizing this effort! Yes, too many questions and not enough answers. Especially since WOCC is carrying debt, why the hasty move forward with the patio renovation. Furthermore, the price tag for the patio renovation seems terribly high. I can purchase a beautiful home in Windsor Farms for that price. Too many questions!!!!

There are significant issues that need to be addressed before any vote is called for. Members should always have the facts, the costs (to include budget, debt, and dues impact) and an opportunity to ask questions and have the committee respond to their concerns before calling for a vote.

Your plan to improve will cause many members to leave the club,while trying to please only a few. Why is it so important to those few members to offer such a difference in the club's long time members for only a few who want this change.

focus on deferred maintenance and debt reduction. How many members actually want outdoor dining?

Seems like a sensible approach to me.
