Governor Hogan declares a State of Emergency March 5, 2020 due to COVID-19, with much expected hardship for Marylanders thru May 1, 2020 unless rescinded, or extended. Please vote yes to postpone roof replacements scheduled to begin April 1, 2020 for a reasonable amount of time afterwards for residents to recover financially.
We need to postpone all 2019 roof replacements for one year. Given the current state of emergency, this will be a substantial burden on many owners.

We believe pushing ahead with the roof replacement that costs thousand of dollars at this incredibly difficult time and under public health emergency is not only a poor decision but also total disregard of well being of the community. We ask that the Board call an emergency meeting to postpone the project to more appropriate time.

Personally, I have no problem either way, but given the circumstances many would benefit from a delay! Unless there is an immediate need to be addressed site specific I support rescheduling!

Why not? We don't need anything but requested repairs/restoration for owners who ash for a reasonable delay. May 1st and we can always change. What's the hurry?

Unless Queenslanding is above Federal and State laws it would be wise to postpone initial payments from the community. First communicate with construction company and see if they are willing to accept a delayed payment but start construction as scheduled (if COVID-19 has flattened by then).
