On July 4, 2009, 5 yr. old Kati Earnest died from internal injuries received from a beating by her mother's boyfriend..Her mother, Kristina, sat and watched the beating, made no attempts to protect Kati. Tommy Castro, (abuser) was sentenced to life in prison and Kristina was convicted to serve 20 yrs. in prison..Parole for Kristina is being considered, February 2013..That, in my opinion is too soon..She should serve a longer sentence.. Castro was a serial domestic abuser and I think Kristina already knew his history,when she met him, but she was too vulnerable. Why did she not try and get help? I'm sure she was scared, but, to let someone take the life of your child right in front of you, is insane. Please help us keep Justice For Kati..Thank you..
