my child has been in ball since she was 8 years old. My grandson has been in since he was playing T ball. This is a shame. We need Tony Coogler back and the bi-laws be followed. Mark has been such a positive role model for our boys. Mark has done so much for our kids and worked so hard on our fields making everything sure everything is up to par. Bring him back!!!!!!!!

I went to school with Mark. He's a good dude. Defending your family is the first thing any man would do. Check out the situation and reevaluate the ban.

I played ball here from 8 to 12U. After my time was up here, I volunteered. I ran concession stand, score boards, took parking money for tournaments, you name it. I’ve seen these fields at their peak and at times when they needed more. To hear that a man was banned from this field for defending his family is entirely appalling and sad. Anyone would have done the same for their significant other and family. I’m saddened that a good man and coach can’t return to what he loves because of it.

I grew up playing here and I'm very sad to hear how this has gone down. The saks youth program was a big part in my family's life and I couldnt be more disappointed

Mark was protecting his wife from harm's way. I have been in situations not knowing what to do but to have the protection Heather had its only right it's his job to protect and that's what he was doing. I know all of these individuals and will say Mark only reacted bc he needed to in order to protect his wife. I have seen how Mark is with coaching the kids of Saks and he's excellent with these kids they look up to his advice he gives and he motivates these kids. I feel as if he is banned it's going to upset alot of these kids. Also why is there a coach who is still there coaching at Saks when last year in a tournament got into a fight on the field as we we're playing. I can say that's why my daughter isn't there anymore. That frightened her. So to me this is unfair. We learn we grow and sometimes we have to protect. Mark did what he needed to do or else it could have been worse it could have been those kids seeing something totally different. As in domestic... There's a difference!!!

We are about coming together and protecting our own ! They have enough time to get the kids counselors at school for what when kids these days are exposed to more criminal activity and vulgar words in an everdays life then one little baseball game in a small community!!!

Mark Wilson should NOT be banned from Saks Youth Activities! He did nothing criminally wrong. He did what ANY good husband and dad would do. He defended his wife & child! I've personally known him for 20+ years & have NEVER EVER known him has a "danger" to anyone! Mark is a great dad, friend, coach, & husband. This decision needs to be reconsidered! Thanks, A former Saks Wildcat.

It's a shame a man has to suffer for defending his wife from physical harm. It's his right as an american citizen and as a man to protect his family.

I'm so happy to see this, something really needs to be done! A man protects his family. Mark did exactly what he (and any other real man) should have done and now because of that they can't even watch their boy play ball! The banning of the Wilson's is completely wrong and unacceptable.

He was protecting his family. There ain't a real man alive that wouldn't have done the same thing.

I’m sure if anyone else was put in their shoes, you all would’ve done the EXACT SAME THING. If not more. I love how people are quick to judge because they’ve never had to personally deal with any situation like that before. I’ve learned that judging someone else ALWAYS comes back in time to humble you. Let’s hope all the people who are in with this ban doesn’t ever have to do or feel the way HEATHER, MARK AND THIER KIDS have.
