The plans for the golf course would completely ruin the area including access to and from the coastal path. It should remain a green space with access for everyone.

The more I analyse this whole planning application the more afraid I am for all the green spaces in North Somerset.We can protect our green spaces by filling in User Evidence forms. These forms can be obtained from Nortech, High St and Portishead Fish Shop High St Portishead.
We need to evidence our use of this land over a 20 year plus timescale.

The plans for the raising the golf course will ruin the coastal walk along what is the nearest part of the coast for 30,000 people. What are people thinking? How could this proposal ever have been put forward and got any kind of support at all?!!!

Make it into a frisbee golf course! Much cheaper than a normal golf course and has extremely low maibtainencr and fees? Great for all the family and could be a bit more council friendly than the skate park idea that keeps getting shot down by those old codgers, but hey at least we can have a band stand for them that would be nice NOT!!!

The Golf Course has been available for all for over 40 years for people to use and it should remain so. For the number of people now living in Portishead there are limited green spaces available so the ones we have should be preserved and kept available.
