The surfing heritage of Port Macquarie and surrounding beaches deserves a dedicated space to celebrate the rich history and culture of surfing at this wonderful part of the Australian coast in the form of a Port Mac Surfing Museum. And what a wonderful value-add it would be to locals and local businesses.

Let's see a balance in the community and contribute to the history of Port by providing this space for the surfing museum to establish a permanent venue to showcase this everlasting and future culture of the area. I lived in Port as a teenager and the surfing culture was Port, so let's give it a space right near the beach for all to share.
