Add Water Park and Pool Back into the Southeast Recreation and Arts Center

We need another pool in Fort Collins, Swimming is huge here and we have no pool space for Club and HS Loveland has pools at all the High schools we need this.

I used to live in Westminster/Broomfield area and they had activity centers and pools all over. They did it right! Fort Collins needs a community center with areas to work out and swim in the southeast corridor. A new pool with lap lanes would relieve congestion for high schools all trying to schedule practice at EPIC.

I live on the SE side of Fort Collins and the closest pool to our house is over 15 minutes away. We would use the new rec center more IF it had pools. (We use both lap & leisure pools today in other locations outside of Fort Collins. I'd love it if our community had these options available.)

As an avid swimmer and fan of Fort Collins, it is a little embarrassing how far Fort Collins is behind other Front Range cities in Aquatics facilities, especially seeing first hand how the City's pools are falling apart, tons of deferred maintenance, woefully over-scheduled, the high schools don't have their own pools, etc. Swimming is a fantastic sport and family activity, and there is a huge supply/demand imbalance in Fort Collins between the number of swimmers vs. swimming facilities.

Please keep the leisure and lap pools in the SE Rec and Arts Center.

All of the existing city rec facilities, and certainly all of the city pools, are in the far Northern reaches of the city. We want facilities close to the large and growing neighborhoods in the south and southeast part of the city.

Hoping they reconsider adding a pool.

Absolutely way overdue and very much needed. PLEASE please offer our side of town a Waterpark pool feature!

So many cities in Colorado have wonderful, state of the art rec centers with pool, slides, work out facilities, climbing walls and more. Fort collins deserves this as well! If you remove this feature, don't bother with a southeast center.

Keep the pool in the plans!!!!

Keep the water park in the plans! I'd rather not drive to south Loveland to enjoy this feature.

What's the point of the rec center if it's not going to have a pool? Who will utilize the facility if it is missing this most popular feature? I can tell you my family would drive an extra few minutes to the Chilson Center and its pool, rather than walk a few minutes down the road to a rec center with no pool.

Rec Centers should provide amenities that benefit the entire community - such as swimming pools suitable for all ages and affordable for all families. There is not point in having a recreation center if it does not include a swimming facility. There is so much growth in the SE area of Fort Collins, a swimming pool will be heavily utilized by the community.

All the pools are really bad in Fort Collins. We have been driving all the way to greeley for a fun pool.

We need a pool, there are not nearly enough pools in Fort Collins!

A pool is defininely needed in S Ft. Collins

For a city this big and growing especially in the SE, please add the water features and poolto the SE Recreation and Arts Center.

Fort Collins was just named #6 in the country of Top Swim Cities by USA Swimming. The sport is not only growing by leaps and bounds locally and nationally, but it is a lifelong sport for all ages. In addition, our four high schools and two year-round swim clubs share the two pools in town. Let's bring new swim facilities to Fort Collins for all in the community to enjoy!
