I love the last open space near our beach Ponto!
All the local dog walkers and neighbors enjoy the open space and view the way it is. I and many others have a hard time understanding why we need more people around here. It is ruining the local feel that we all love.
We need to save all of the coastal wet lands and rural surrounding areas. There is already too many people moving in and taking away from our open freedom and precious space. Leave a little for the Locals. We respect the beach and each other. It will be an eye sore with too many inconsiderate tourist trying to snake our parking and waves and trashing our beaches. It gets worse every year. If you build more parking there will be more people and more people at the beach is wrong.

What if we allowed a parking structure and let the rest be a park....what a beautiful, scenic sight that would be.

There is nothing positive about this new plan and its a gross deviation from the original. The only people who will benefit are the developers. Listen to the people and residents. No one wants this!

Keep the beach A BEACH! No city structure type developments, take those elsewhere! The point of "coastal view" is to see the view without climbing on a roof!

There is a reason for the 30 ft limit. Greed is the only reason to allow an exception! Think about what is best for Carlsbad!!
