Final supporters
Many of the students in Ms. Caraway's class feel as though she is too adamant in her grading methodology. We feel as though even though this is a fundamental course, she is making it excessively hard to excel. There are only 4 test grades and one final grade. We have requested alternate ways of grading to help us (replacing the lowest test grade with the final, extra credit) but she has declined. The class average is now failing as finals are approaching. Considerable amounts of the material in the exams are vague details from the textbook. As we have exhausted all our appeals with her, we are requesting that something is done.

I have been hearing from so many of you who are losing sleep over this class because the current grading structure feels designed to punish us. We are currently preparing a formal packet of these concerns to present to the department chair because sitting by and watching our GPAs tank is not an option.

Seeing so many of my classmates join this effort confirms that I am not the only one drowning in this impossible grading system. The fact that so many of you stepped up proves that we deserve a fair chance to succeed in this course.

Seriously need a curve. GPA is getting destroyed because of this one class.
The tests are literally impossible. Asking for extra credit shouldn't be this hard when the whole class is failing.
