There are far more better reasons to add it to the policy than omit it and assume everyone interprets it that way. Adding it eliminates any possibilities for mis-interpretation or abuse of the policy.

Please pass this important addition to policy. If the school district has already taken anti bullying measures. Adding an anti discrimination measure such as this will only strengthen the stance of standing up for everyone.

At the time when United States is not United we the people must act to protect our son's and daughters. Not because it's the next cool thing but because it is our civil duty to do the right thing and protect our loved ones and show them that doing the right thing is the only thing that people should do going forward.

There should be protection for all people against discrimination of any kind. Bullying often leads to suicide. If we are serious about encouraging people not to "Give Up" we need to demonstrate that all lives matter.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 is a landmark civil rights and labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, and later sexual orientation and gender identity.
