It is in the peoples interest to keep ownership of the land and use the land that they have to create the economic base. The economic base is threatened by wages current and other current necessities, as well as possibly debt. What is a short term break-even point? If any debt registered as at the current position, how long will it take to pay at a reasonable frequency? How much of the land is threatened with sale? What is the current earning, and what is the current earning capacity? With the changed Government and new policies could it be prudent re-evaluate the options available to PNBC (after all NZ has a shortage of 100,000 social houses. Is there a 20 year plan that will enable PNBC to retain the land and profit the People who are its shareholders? Why has there been no agreement sought or company formed with Wakatu Inc, at Shelley bay?

The land that was sold to John Ross was sold for a fraction of the value, which has since skyrocket. It was also my understanding that the land was historically earmarked for use by the marae. This land isn't an asset in the cash sense, we fought to regain some of our whenua, not to have it sold off to investors who will make a killing why we get f all $$ and the land is now gone.
