What about the Mattatuck trail & Buttermilk Falls which are near 82 Wolcott Rd ? Both are used extensively by hikers & picnickers.

I raise pedigree show rabbits which are housed outside. When there is shooting practice going on at the sand and gravel or in the general area my rabbits are very nervous. They run around thier cages nonstop after each gunfire. On these days they do not even settle down to eat. One of My concerns are if they are behaving like this now what's going to happen when it is a louder noise and for longer periods. They have very sensitive ears and I'm afraid for thier well being. Also I moved in the country to get away from noise. I refused to pay almost 9000.00 a year in property taxes to have to deal with the many other problems and unease that something like this is going to bring to my now peaceful enjoyment of my surroundings!

We do not wish to have to put up with the noise and other inconvienences, that having this shooting range will bring to our peacefull neighborhood..

What about the Mattatuck trail that passes within hundreds of feet to 82 Wolcott Rd?

I am opposed to this gun range because of the noise issue I believe in freedom and being able to shoot your gun now and then but when you exercise your freedom to the point where it invades other peoples space and peace then it needs to be restricted . There has been quite a bit of shooting going on over there already and sometimes it is annoying , but to just imagine what it would be like with a full blown range going constantly ,, that would be horrible. Put it inside a building , underground someplace ELSE.

I'm am Opposed to the gun range, this is a nice quiet area, close to the state mattock trail were you can enjoy hiking.these are two reasons we enjoy this town! Also worried about the quality of life,we also 4 rescue dogs with there own issues without Adding more stress from the gun fire! What about property value I'm very worried about that! Traffic is another issue nobody's talking about!

I already have to put up with the gun noise on weekends from Allentown Rd. Now we are in danger of losing peace during the week? Totally not acceptable. If I need to sell my house who is going to want to live in this area. Why not put this in a less populated place if the town needs to generate more tax income. You need to hire people that will not steal from you.

I vote NO! There is already far too much gun fire noise in the area from the Plainville Gun Club on Allentown Road in Wolcott. I moved to a rural area to be away from noise, and enjoy the outdoors. The noise from this gun range will be excessive and constant, making my backyard sound like a warzone, instead of a place to call home. This will not be a place I will want to spend my time, or my tax dollars. This is not the type of business Plymouth needs to attract, regardless of potential revenue.

I strongly oppose the proposed shooting range at 82 Wolcott Road. We homeowners have purchased rural property for the love and enjoyment of nature at our homes. The noise and safety disruptions to this area will be intolerable. We have faithfully paid our taxes to the Town of Plymouth so that we may enjoy our property. Please do not allow this enormous venture to disrupt our peaceful lives. Thank you.

It's bad enough that a propane fueling center is in the process of being built .25 miles away now I can have a shooting range another .25 miles on the other side! Please do not let this happen.

We are a retired couple who expect to enjoy our home in peace and quiet. Loud noise, gunfire, does not in any way follow that plan. Loud repetitive sounds of gunfire will interfere with our enjoyment of our home. In addition, because of my severe migraines, we moved here for the quiet. The repetitive sounds will trigger headaches everyday. Also, who would want to buy our house if we should need to sell. No one wants to be in the vicinity of a gun range. Property values of our homes will decrease. How fair is it that we will have to deal with this noise traveling to where we live? Where are our rights? Would you people on the zoning board like to live like this? We pay high taxes in this community and we should not be subjected to a gun range.

I am against this proposal as it will decrease my property value by adding loud, and unecessary noise to what has been a quite and peacefull environment for the past twenty seven years. This noise will intrude on my privacy and peace of mind.

My home will be on just the other side of the street and in the middle of 2 gun ranges nearly side by side. Is it reasonable for so many families to live within close proximity of high power rifle-fire when we get home from work or on our week-ends? Multiple ranges are never located next to one another for the obvious reasons.

I wish to continue to enjoy the peace, tranquility & wildlife in the surrounding woods.

There is a gun range on thomaston ave and wolfs gun range is in bristol, the idea of another gun range is a waste of our tax money especially when their are plenty of other pressing issues such as our roads that need our attention.

Does not belong in a quiet residential area. If you would not want it in your back yard, please don't vote to have it in mine. Think about 47 guns bays in your neighborhood!
