The Irish Government should be looking after our own people and giving help where required. The IAA are a state body that approved licensces for companies to operate in the Airline Industry and it seems like someone had there eye off the ball to approved a licence when a company were in financial diffuculties. Its like other state bodies during the boom that were short sighted with their view of company compliance. Now its time to help our young people with the financial burden the PTC has left them in while these the Directors enjoy the high life.

This is awful, my friend was left in Florida with his family having paid out thousands of pounds for his training which they obviously were never reimbursed. someone has to take responsibility for it.

IAA should have investigated before giving the licence for the training wether the company could fund the project without default.
