Mr Varadkar as useless as ever, how can he spout off about every other subject under the Governments jurisdiction, but EVERY single time, something under his own remit appears in the press, he washes his hands of it!

This is another tragic example of a statutory body the IAA failing to do their job and expecting the victims of their poor regulatory work to suffer the consequences. Unless the IAA is held to account by government and opposition and made to right this wrong nothing will change. Action now will set standards for the future and the message will be sent that regulatory bodies need to be accountable for their actions and take responsibility when things go wrong. Minister Varadkar and his colleagues promised us major reform of the composition and responsibilities of state bodies. We have seen very little to date. The IAA and this issue would be an excellent place to start.

This company had assistance from the Irish Government and banks and they just want to wash their hands of any responsibility to the students, absolutely disgraceful!

To be able to set up again training other poor unsuspecting bods, whilst leaving students and parents picking up the pieces of debt, overdraft, and shattered dreams, and not to mention the grave impact on health and wellbeing, is criminal and inhumane.

I feel that these pilot trainees have been cheated and deserve FULL compensation from the company that should be sued for criminal negligence!!
