Dear World Leaders,
All of recorded history confirms that rule by a dictator who protects his/her reign and enslaves the people by fear, force, or deceit cannot survive:
Early Egypt in spite of the knowledge to build great pyramids, Rome possessing a mighty military able to conquer the known world, England with its colonies throughout the world (in spite of the higher standard of living they brought),Nazi Germany promoting its plans for a single superior race of perfect individuals, Russia with a stranglehold on its vast empire, religious extremists who simply seek to kill all who won't convert to their warped ideology, and now it appears the United States which has begun to ignore its motto, "In God We Trust", reject the Bible as God's inspired word, and withdraw from sharing the resulting virtues with the world.
The Bible is the best selling book of all time (in spite of being extremely complex), in over several thousand years its contents have not been successfully refuted, its primary teacher, Jesus Christ, and His teachings have spread throughout the world, not because of fear, guns, or lies but because of their intrinsic truths.The teaching Jesus viewed as second most important, "Love your neighbor as yourself"(Matthew 22:39 NKJV) has now become the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you", and is universally endorsed among people of good will.
God created all humans in all lands equally and endowed them with certain unalienable rights, among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Now, rather than lament that I am only one humble person who can do nothing to heal our broken world that is in great need, instead , I proudly fix my signature to this petition and pledge/agree to personally do my best to follow Christ's second most important command, as well as the golden rule, in all I do and say. " I do this believing strongly that if people from all countries around the world follow suit, then human greed and selfishness will gradually be replaced by honoring God and service to others".
I eagerly join the Founder of ChristianSelf-Help, Inc., Ray W. Rowney , Jr. in his efforts to lead by example in whatever circles I may travel.
