Passaic County has proposed an 18 hole disc golf course at Rifle Camp Park in Woodland Park, NJ.

The property is currently has several walking trails, camp sites, a Nature Center & Astronomical Observatory, picnic areas, and a wonderful scenic overlook. The course design safely traverses around the existing activities, as well as around future park improvements that are planned. The parks department requested that the design be beginner friendly, to provide the community residents an additional outdoor activity, as well as a challenging tournament layout to attract visitors to the park in Passaic County.

The course designer has worked with parks department, engineers of the county and also an arborist to ensure the layout works well for the park, any future park improvements to ensure the least environmental impact as possible. There has currently been some local resistance to the installation of this disc golf course.
