Please Stop the Development Plan at 45 E. Central St

Not the right location for this project need more affordable housing not high end.

I lived in Natick for almost my entire life. It's not a city. Natick is a small town. I watched condos, town homes, multi million dollar houses and shopping places pop up everywhere as I grew up, and it makes the Natick I know and love a cramped town. Our schools are small, as they should be.. Except Natick high.. There are roads, bridges, buildings and parks that could use the funding this monstrosity would require. I know a ton of neighborhoods that could use some TLC. Stop trying to turn Natick into something it's never been. It's not Wellesley. Think about your current residents, and not the possible residents you think you'd attract with this. A lot of people can barely afford all the new homes you've already built. Jesus Christ..

Come on Natick . ..our streets cannot handle more traffic and the schools are full right now! Must you continue to ruin this town by putting up another huge complex?

Grew up in Natick my mom still lives there traffic is rough now this type of development would devastate the existing charm...

When will the building stop? Natick is a town not a city-Our schools are already maxed out in enrollment- Where are we going to put all the new children who will move in? Enough Building!

When is it going to end, I've learned that no matter what the people say they don't win out. Seniors are being driven from Natick.

That's ridiculous. To much traffic , noise and congestion. We are the suburbs not the city.

That is a horrible idea! It's congested enough already . It's a real shame to tear down that building . They already took down center school.....it's not going to have much history left at all!

While I do like to see efforts to develop and modernize our community, I feel this project specifically doesn't belong in historical, sleepy, downtown Natick; especially without major traffic pattern updates. Therefore, as is, I must sign this petition against this project; a project better suited for route 9.

This project is in conflict with the zoning district of the parcels in question. The development cannot go forward without special permits and variances from the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals in Natick. There will be a very adverse impact to traffic in the downtown area, and disruption to the quiet neighborhoods that lie behind the proposed development. As currently slated, the flashing yellow at Lincoln St will become a permanent stop light and all traffic to the development will be routed down Lincoln St, and out Wilson St. As luxury condos primarily attract commuters, this will create quite a traffic snarl in the morning and evening hours. Make your voice heard at the public hearings for this development and we can prevent this level of development from going through. I agree the area is unused and consists of an abandoned funeral home and other buildings, but this is too dense and too large scale for our quiet downtown neighborhood. Perhaps some townhouses?
