This is a very bad idea. Natick is a nice small town. Look what has happened on either side of Casey's Diner. A town sight is being squished between two sets of apartments. Now the construction of townhouses and apartments on North Main Street all squished together and not affordable to the people who need housing (young couples,families that can't afford larger rents).

please do not put the size building up you are thinking of. I work near there and see the traffic daily on 135 backed up to the lights coming from Wellesley.

the children in the Avalon apartments by Home Depot are being sent to Lilja. Class sizes are too large for resources. We need to plan school systems before creating ANY more housing in Natick. Please stop reckless unplanned housing growth!!!

Downtown natick and natick in general do not have supporting structures in. Place especially school spaces, transportation, road structures -- especially this close to the main police and fire stations, nor the budget to support any more bodies in the town

My biggest concern with this is the added pressure this will put in the police and Fire department responders. They are located directly across the street from this site.

I like to see new buildings in Natick, and more people around, and more taxes, hopefully used wisely. On the other hand, "wisely" is what I am afraid off, that the town will collect more taxes and won't repair the roads and won't build new schools.

Use your votes wisely...elect selectmen that will STOP this greed based, over development.
Imagine when, 600 or more cars are added to Naticks traffic load, once the beehive development at Washington ave becomes occupied!

Natick is warm and welcoming community but I am concerned that there is a lack of long-term planning. We need to consider an urban development plan that takes all the stakeholders into account and maintains the integrity of the town we chose to make our home. As a downtown Natick homeowner I bought into the small community -- converting all the empty spaces to condos and apartment buildings depreciates the efforts of the homeowners in this community. And, as the petition says, "We are asking for responsible development that fits into the community without overwhelming it, and ask that you do everything you can to stop or scale down this project."
