I’m been hesitant in signing this petition because i believe it should not be made public. Only need to know individuals should have access to the petition. By publishing names you’re creating more division in the community. We’ve had to much of that already.

The current board has operated in secrecy for years. Not allowing open books to the membership and now we have a mess. The bullying behavior of the current board is unacceptable.

Anyone should be allowed to attend meetings not just "paying members".

Is there money laundering going on here? Any organization that does not account for other people’s money, ceases to be a legitimate organization. How can this be difficult to understand. We stopped paying at least 3 years ago.

We have had our lot and cabin since 1958. We paid our dues annually untill the end of 2013, My brother Bill and I asked the board to do something with the accxumulated money or at least tell us what the plan was for it. They had no plan so as a result 2013 ended our membership. We are 100% behind having the board resign and having a new board replace those folks. How can you have that much money evaporate unless you have a board that does not pay attention and doing their job

No president should stay after such a huge failure took place on their watch.

Having served on many boards and committees it is the responsibility of all board members to oversee the business. Annual audits are the norm for most any board treasurer. While wrongdoing may not have been committed by the entire board, ultimate responsibility lays on them.

I would like to thank members of the board who actually have tried to make Cholla better. However, for at least the last 10 years, Mike has only been interested in serving those members who belong to his own little "clique"! Those of you who support the present board, say "if you aren't happy, why wasn't your name on the ballot in the last election?" My question is, "Why in the world would anyone want to be elected to a board that is NOT operating legally??? Please step down so we can move forward with a NEW LEGAL HOA!

Your failure to provide, protect and serve the homeowners in Cholla Bay is the exact reason you should have resigned without having to go through this.

Time for a change but I do not accuse the existing board of dishonesty but if we had transparency in place this would not have happened there is no reason to hide the facts from anyone that is a member in good standing

I think that the fact that they got away with this crime for such a long time is truly amazing. They had to be extremely clever. It's time for new blood to get in.

I know the current board has devoted years of their time to Cholla, for the love of the community. Since the embezzlement, they have made efforts to make certain that there are safeguards in place to insure it doesn't happen again. Thank you for that. However, while they have acknowledged and addressed this loss, they obviously were negligent in overseeing our assets. Besides the loss, they admit that there was well over $2,000,000, maybe even pushing $3,000,000 run through our account since 2014 without anyone noticing. This was in full swing in 2014. How many years and dollars were involved before then? Not one word of explanation has been given. This is a show of lack of attention, otherwise known as negligence that is not acceptable. There are a lot of comments that this interim board should run for the Vecinos board rather than instigate a coop. In fact, they did! They held office, but when they asked questions because of unsettling practices, they were squeezed out, never being allowed to look at the financials. It is time for fresh eyes, hopefully with experience to carry on the business in Cholla with quality and transparency.

Out with the old board, in with the new.

The Vecinos HOA should be devolved and reestablished, legally and with current living officials. And no one should be able to hold the same office for longer than 2 terms

Malfeasance, no confidence! They need to resign.
