This program is terrible for our children, our teachers, our nation...It is only good for those to whom the money is being funneled.

Common Core IS Communist Core

Thank all NH parents who love their children, and care about their education for carrying the heavy load of fighting this monstrosity known as Common Core. Unquestionably, whether this is a Government initiated program, or one devised by a group of self-described "experts," who have decided what's best for the rest of us, "the great unwashed," and approved by the Government, it was not developed and decided ". . .of the people, by the people, for the people" who, increasingly, disapprove it as they search past the hype, and "find out what's in it." Masterfully, the Government has developed its "carrot and stick" by taking your tax money and while saying Common Core is all voluntary, but then offering a significant part of your tax money back, unless you obey then entirely.

I vote that the state of New Hampshire stand against being part of the common core standards.

Common Core doesn't belong in the NH education system.

NH Legislators must pass HB 1508. Our children deserve better. Please adopt the Massachusetts proven #1 Standards (before Mass. Signed on to Common Core) signed off on by Dr. Sandra Stotsky for ELA and Dr. James Milgrim for Math Standards.

The Common Core is dangerous in that it is clueless about the nature of teaching, learning and child development. Its primary mission is to turn our children into non-thinking compliant cogs.

Save our children.

Keep local control of education.

TEACH our children; don't indoctrinate them. Get us OUT of Common Core! See what happens when you take federal money. Always strings attached. Always.

Common core is a disaster waiting to happen. It is de-moralizing for the students and the teachers. It is another gamble with our kids future just like Whole Language and Outcome Based education in the 90's. As a former school board member, I'm well aware of the untested unfunded mandates. We need to come together and fight this nonsense. Homeschoolers are not safe either! Do your research! This is one more way for the government to gain control of our lives and for us to lose our rights. Common core will kill our educational system and silence the school boards, teachers and parents by leaving us helpless and without a voice in how our children are taught. SAY NO TO COMMON CORE!!!
