The Federal government has no authority to regulate or manipulate education - this is a State function - no one-size-fits-all standards.

Sadly, I think the only thing we’ll discover is that we’ve been sold a bill of goods by controllists who want more power and the ability to dumb down the next generation to more easily manipulate them. Tragically, 44 states are willingly going along and setting up untold millions of children for failure. Americans deserve better than this – we must demand it.

I have 5 kids from 15 down to 2 years old. My first grader is 'good' at math as are my other kids (we have had the principal tell us that our kids help 'float' the schools math test scores), but thanks to Common Core and the ridiculous workbooks my first grader is already convinced 'math is complicated'! I can't help but wonder what kids who don't have a natural knack for math are thinking and feeling! We have already been thinking of homeschooling (our middle schooler is asking for us to) but with the happenings in Gilford we may just have to! Please get Common Core OUT of NH. Follow the money, it has nothing to do with bettering our schools, or our kids, its all about thought control and having a large, homogenous 'market' base for companies like Microsoft to sell too! I don't want schools to be telling my kids WHAT to think, I want them learning HOW to think. Please let us get Common Core OUT of NH!

I've seen the ads with "teachers" supporting Common Core. This is lies and propaganda. Stop Common Core now.

C.C has to be the worse method of teaching. Ultimately, it's a scam for print vendors and the like, to make money. And let's not forget the payoff that each state gets for instituting it.

We need the federal government out of the "education" system.

The federal government should not be involved in education. Education is a local matter best controlled by people within the community.

I may live in Vermont, but my oldest will have to attend middle and high school in New Hampshire!! If I could get this stopped in VT too, I would....but for now I will start here! I want the Federal Government to get the hell out of our schools and stop infringing on our Rights! This is illegal to start with...was NEVER voted on in Congress!!

My family did not move to New Hampshire for a standardized curriculum, an emphasis on data collection or to support the billion dollar testing industry . We moved here for excellent schools that were under local control.

Common Core is illegal as well as dangerous to all of us. NH should be leading the charge away fromthis travesty and back to local control.

Common Core: unfunded, unproved. It will cost NH its schools and it uses kids as lab rats. Major privacy issues. Get it out and let our teachers teach.

It has to go. Math homework these days takes 4 times what it should, and is just way more complicated than it needs to be.

Common Core is, in its flawed design, corrupt initiation, and deceptive implementation, totally unAmerican.
