As a taxpayer who lives in Merrimack, NH I will not stand for the Merrimack schools using Common Core as the curriculum. I will be persuing information on if either I can withhold a part of my property taxes that goes to the schools or if I can file a suit against the Merrimack school district or the state of NH or any other means that are necessary to stop the use of Common Core. I am going as far as considering taking my child out of the public school system in Merrimack and switching to private school where the Government can not Dictate the curriculum. Governor Hassan is a corrupt egotistical Dictator who needs to impeached from office. I am sick and tired of Government telling me what is best for me and my family.

Common core is not what NH wants. This is wrong and anyone who supports it should be voted out of office.

Education should definitely be a state issue. More importantly parents should be more involved in what is taught to their children and how.

Common Core is killing education across the entire country. Please remove NH from this disaster of a program and put education back where it belongs...LOCALLY!
I'm absolutely agent's common core and all its endless testing. I pay state taxes for a reason. So don't peddle me that BS that I have no parental rights to op-out of testing for MY child. Because the state wants it's federal $$. And some to most of the educational material are not age appropriate at all.. I really don't think my 8yr old 3rd grader needs to learn about Crack weed ect in health class. And I don't think it's ok for the health teacher to ask our children if they have seen any drugs or medications at there homes.

You were voted for to work for the people and you know the people don't want their children involved in Common Core like you don't have yours either. Time to stop being paid off for your votes or step down.

Get the federal government out of our schools. Stop dumbing down our children. Put control back to the local community. Give teachers merit raises and let them do what they love to do ... teach.

Return Control to States and Local Communities; Education needs should be state funded and locally controlled. Common Core will do nothing to improve education. Support HB603 and HB206(without ammendment) Now!!
