The little ones need something like this in the park. Lido is great but really busy. Be fab for families to have for a day out. Like we had. We were lucky enough to have both when i was young.

I used the paddling pool all the time - we don’t get chance to use the new pool as it’s always fully booked and we can’t just pop down on the off chance as my son would be so disappointed if he couldn’t get in.

Bring back free paddling pool or something similar that the children of RCT can use at their leisure for as long as they like when ever they like.

We desperately need a pool for the children and a councillor ( not the ones that are in now obviously) to get behind us .

The playground has been ruined and we need somewhere for young kids to enjoy themselves keep the lido for older children like it was when I was a child instead of looking for profit only

I think a slash water park would be amazing as they have taken away the free pool outside and now adults and there fitness take over the bookings for the lido..the lido should of never of gone to booking ect there's nothing around here for kids and its about time there was!

It’s so annoying I have to travel to porthcawl Cardiff & aberavon for my four children to enjoy the splash parks the lido isn’t enough

when I take my children out for the day in this hot weather we prefer to go somewhere where they are able to cool off so we go to the splash parks where we can have a proper day out and not have to leave after a hour!
The lido is amazing but I do think Pontypridd missed a golden opportunity to keep people in the town instead of travelling further afield and spending money in other areas when we have this huge park that can accommodate a splash park easily.

I love the lido for 11/2 swim sessions but you can't picnic with your family for the day and have water play.

The worst thing they ever did was take away the old paddling pool in the park. They should definitely have a splash park added instead so that kids can enjoy themselves in the water without having to book.
