Please sign our petition to try and get a water park installed in ponty park

certainly need one for the young kids ,about time they put one there come on everyone get this petition signed our kids and grandkids need this

The grass behind the lido would be perfect for a splash zone which would bring even more footfall to the park and revenue for the town.

Yes as the pool is never benifical its first come first serve needs a water park that csn be used by anyone no time limits no queuing just fun

we need something for the kids as the lido u have to book in advance .we need something we can just pop in for a hour or stay as long as we want which we havent got since the pool was taken away

This is needed it was promised but never came to light due to funding. Its missed and the park just isn't the same. The Lido is fab but getting a swimming slot even for us locals is a nightmare so the children are missing out having to travel to merthyr or Caerphilly for a few days N park day now as Ponty just doesn't cut it in this heat fir a cheap fun day out with kids.

Have said all along we needed a splash park. It was promised when they said about taking the park away they were going to put one at the back of the Lido on the green that forever floods etc but nothing came of it. Ponty isn't the same without a splash park. So many places now have them. My girls were lucky enough to enjoy the our t door paddling pool, but now 8 and 11 they both miss it and in weather like this it's missed. It woulf enhance and bring more people to the park and I turn the Lido on my eyes as trying to get a swimming slot is a nightmare even for us locals x

Thy took the pool away from the children which there was no need to to go into lido u cant take 2 children in just with 1 adult the pool had been there for years and parents came there from afar to fetch their children to the pool which all children loved pontypridd park needs a splash pool ASAP .

As lovely as the park is now .a water feature for all would be a great feature.it would bring more people into to the town

Thus is very much needed. Had hours of fun as a child in the pool in the park.

Never been to the new lido because we can never get in there! Miss the old ponty puddle that I had hours of fun in as a child! A water park would be great fun as currently we go to Cyfartha with my little boy

The lido is great but its only limited time and spaces.. the hot weather has made it difficult to sit in the sun.. a splash area would be a great addition to the park and for younger children to have the freedom in the water

Since the big pool has gone I dont bother taking my daughter, the park is far too open with too many exists so makes it harder to keep track of her, yes rct put a disability swing in but what about children with other disabilitys that wonder
