Please sign our petition to try and get a water park installed in ponty park

This is much needed in our town. Having a disabled child, an hour for the lido just isn't enough. We've not once visited the new lido since it opened. Members of my family have been unsuccessful getting tickets on many occasions. We now travel away from the town for other splash parks where we go on to spend at least £150 on meals in other towns. Our town should be benefiting from people spending money

A splash park would be great for the Park and I do not think it would detract from the lido.

The lido is great but it hasn't been a perfect substitute for the paddling pool in the park-yes it brings in revenue and attracts tourists but it is constantly booked up, frequently overcrowded and children under the age of five have nowhere to play safely in the water.

We need a water park desperately in Pontypridd for little ones who are not able to swim. We only have the swimming pool which is always fully booked days/weeks in advance.

Something needs to be done. It's not right that you can't use the lido as and when you want to. There is nothing in Ponty for the 5 and unders.

I spent many happy times in the open pool in the park and so did my three children.

We used to love going to ponty park to have a picnic and let the kids swim in the pool/play in the park. The new design has ruined this.

Robbed the people of the pool would go some way to make amends

Hurry up and bring it back to where it belongs in our wonderful park.
