They actually listened and decided to keep the terminal open so the demolition plans are totally off the table now. I am still shaking because I honestly expected a much harder fight but I am so relieved we get to stay right where we are. Keep an eye on things …

Final supporters
If we were to lose our current terminal, it will result in serious consequences for our customers. Forcing us to relocate to another terminal at Midway will almost certainly result in higher airport-related and passenger handling fees, increasing our costs. It would also cause unnecessary confusion for you, our customers.
Should the facility not receive a lease extension from the city, it is scheduled to be demolished. This is despite the fact that there is a rent paying tenant in the building and several operators use the facility.
Please help us support the terminal so that we can avoid the unnecessary destruction of a useful facility.

I was just checking the dashboard and we are speeding toward a hundred signatures which is honestly wild because I really thought this would just be me and my neighbor shouting into the void. If you know anyone who actually uses the terminal or hates the idea of losing it maybe send them the link right now while the momentum feels real because I have a feeling the city is totally ignoring us until they see a big number on the screen.

Total waste of money to demolish a perfectly good building. chicago city hall needs to get their priorities straight.
This is ridiculous. Leave that terminal alone. Why fix what isnt broken?
My family uses this service all the time for work trips the new fees would be insane. keep it open!!
Lakeshore Express is the main reason I even fly out of midway. dont push them out.

Midway is already a nightmare to navigate. dont make it worse for everyone.
