I grew up watching Laurel and Hardy with my dad, who had loved them when he was a child. They left me in stitches! There will never be a duo like this again. Younger people deserve the chance to appreciate clean and truly funny comedy instead of being continually exposed to the foul trash out there now.

Hilarious timeless comedy. Comedy started with these true legends of comedy. Every comedy act has derived from these two. Their comedy was effortless and they enjoyed what they did for a living. They put ALL of todays so called comedians to shame( Michael Macintyre especially) They are sadly missed and we will NEVER see the like again. PLEASE PLEASE bring them back. Future generations should not miss out on true comedy greats such as Stan & Ollie.

Many youngsters don't know who they are so its up to the oldies to sign the petition. I wonder if any BBC employees signed it.
