It's almost a crime that they aren't on tv anymore. My story is a perfect example of why they should be: that is how I discovered them 30+ years ago! A movie ran short and all of a sudden this short film with a skinny little guy and a big heavy guy came on and I was instantly hooked. They've been my favorites ever since. I know the same would happen to many other young people who saw them. Laurel and Hardy films are timelessly funny, brilliantly produced, and you can see and feel the genuine respect and affection that had for one another. No other comedy team had that, and the young people of today need to be given the chance to discover this greatest of all comedy teams...bring them back to TV!!!!!

My sons who are 3 and 6 love L&h as I did as a child and their family friendly brand of comedy should still be visible to new generations.

We have most of the shows on DVD but it would be great for the younger generations to see great comedy.

If laurel and Hardy came back to our screens that would be brilliant.they we're and still are the very best at what they did.I'm nearly 50 and as a kid ALWAYS watched them when I got in from school.no duo has nor come close to the laughter they spread around the world.

Laurel & Hardy defined my youth. They taught me to laugh, all through the long summer holidays, and the gift they gave us all DESERVES to be shared with future generations. Classic comedy - TRUE comedy - is timeless. And, in that respect, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are truly immortal. Please share their genius and their gift with the present, and future, generations? Thank you.
