I learnt about Laurel and Hardy as a child through watching their hilarious antics on television, and it would be such a crying shame if they were shunted to 7am on a Sunday on BBC2 or even not shown at all. I remember them being shown on Sunday afternoons. Wonderful stuff, and appeals to all ages, all walks of life. Please don't let their fabulousness die out for generations to come. I'm 62 and people younger than I am know little or nothing about them, which is very sad.

Lets get all generations enjoying these wonderful, gentle, inspirational men! I watched these with my dad throughout my childhood in the late 60's early 70's on BBC, come on I pay a fee (which I don't mind) so please let me have my say! Bring the boys back on a Saturday morning

One of my greatest joys as a kid was watching Laurel and Hardy on a Saturday morning on the BBC. I've loved them ever since.
