Although I accept that Cross Country and Track may not bring in as much money to the school as other sports, such as football, it does not make it any less of an amazing sport that continues to inspire, motivate, and engage athletes around the world. I think running is an amazing sport and the funding should not be cut. Furthermore, it is an Olympic sport and university and college students should have the opportunity to compete and better themselves.
