Why eliminate running and not football? Isn´t a school supposed to be fair? What benefit does football has over cross country? YOu are giving a very bad example to your students, making arbitrary decisions.

running is one of the greatest sports out there, it is cheap and brings joy to so many people. it is something that many people continue for the rest of their lives, please don't let a great program end.

I don't think that it is right for the school to immediately drop these sports, especially ones I love.

Nothing that's being utilized by people should just be 'dropped' without warning.

please reinstate the men's track program! The amount of money those students bring in in the form of tuition payed out of pocket far surpasses the amount of money spent to maintain the mens program....Also think about all the alumni of the program who will now never donate money back to RMU because they are pissed the university cut the program.

I am a track and cross country runner and i would like to say that it would be a crime in my opinion to eliminate these sports. I do alot of things while i runa and one of them is think about things.. One other point is do you know how many people your school is going to loose for eliminating the sports.

Continued....That the other (women's) track and cross country programs will be hindered. It is a sad day for these programs and the student athletes and coaches that have been effected. I hope that something can be done to bring them back. They have my support.

You will be doing a disservice to your student athletes by following through with this decision! As a university and educators it's your job to find a way to make it work! After all, isn't that what we teach our future leaders. To never quit and always find a way.
