Duolingo clubs are very helpful to us. It improves our social skills while learning a new language

I have lots of ideas for how to improve clubs. Why not form a focus/planning group to make clubs better rather than eliminating them?

Please keep the Duolingo clubs as it's good practice to write in that language and is a good way to talk to people learning the same language

Por lo visto mucha gente usa el club yo lo hice al principio pero me agotaba un poco, pues no tengo demasiado tiempo para dedicarle, pero creo es magnífico para quienes quieran sumergirse mas en los idiomas, una buena opción.

Ever since I discovered clubs, my Dutch has improved tremendously! Especially since I was able to get in contact with real native speakers through the clubs. Lessons are important but no replacement for conversations where you have to put it all together yourself. Please, Duolingo! Please keep the clubs!!

I first downloaded the Mobile Version of Duolingo probably close to 3 years ago but I would have stopped using the App long time ago if it wasn’t for the CHAT option that was introduced by Duo- it added life, and fun and a sense of real accomplishment upon every successful exchange of thoughts with the club- members. Ever since I opened my Club and I am an active member of 3 more. We all became friends and we interact using the respective language that we study together. Having our Duo Clubs is like having our own classroom with our favourite classmates and teachers ( the native speakers among us in each group ). We share a passion together - for the language we study. You take the Clubs away from us = you loose us as users, sooner or later. And if you reconsider and choose to keep the Clubs as a option for those who don’t want to join the Leaderboards/ Leagues, then we would probably never leave and will continue advertising Your App to our circle of friends as the best App ever.

I vote in favour for keeping the clubs or even extend them with practical features to provide more communication possibilities between club members.

I use clubs all the time to practise. Without them, there will be zero interaction on Duolingo.

Literally the best part of Duolingo is the clubs; no other direct human interaction. Please bring back clubs!

I am the admin of a Swedish club. We have a native speaker in our group. She has answered so many questions. She has informed us of her culture and helped with many grammar questions. I really appreciate her assistance. We would not learn as well if the club was gone. We all encourage and motivate each other. Also I'm apart of an amazing Spanish club as well. I really hope that active clubs will continue to be offered on Duolingo.
