Please, save Duolingo clubs!

Clubs give motivation for people and can be useful. Even though I don't use them, I believe that they should stay because of the help they provide.

Yes, please bring back the clubs! Without them, there are no more written sentence questions and no more chances to talk to others in the language you want to learn. By creating a giant leaderboard for *everyone* on the app to compete on, the focus of the app has shifted from learning to competition. I am not interested in simply racking up more points to get lingots. I am interested in interacting with others who want to learn the same languages that I want to learn. When there were still clubs, I liked to write random posts in the language I was learning about the weather where I was, or how many classes I had that day, or wishing others in the club a merry Christmas or Happy Easter or whatnot. Please, admins, the clubs were an essential part of helping me learn! Bring them back, please!

Clubs are great, they should just be improved.

Clubs are very useful for maintaining social contact when distance learning is your only option. Please keep them.

I think the clubs are really important to make you actually use the language. And how brilliant that you only get so points if the sentence is correct, so god. Please don't get rid of them!

Duolingo is destroying itself by removing all the good features. Clubs is another one gone.

I think clubs should be a vital part in Duolingo. They helped me a lot to finish trees, more than one and more than once. I am a big club fun. I keep 6 of them which are active and helpful. I will miss my friends there if closed.

I was very active in the clubs for awhile but then I moved and life you know, happens. I enjoyed the clubs and interacting when I did. Don't remove the clubs. Practice makes perfect!
