Please, save Duolingo clubs!

Save the clubs! They were a good way to comment with people learning the same language. Leader boards might motivating to a few, but learning a language isn’t a race. It takes time. If you rush (for example, are more focused on getting to the top) you won’t be learning much anyway.

please bring the clubs back! it was so much fun and you could learn with your friends!

Leagues are impersonal and unnecessarily competitive. Please allow users to choose their own pace and followers.

I love Duolingo Clubs.

I never used the clubs but after reading all your comments, I want those! Bring back the clubs!

They keep us motivated, please bring them back.

I liked the club I was in for French, please bring clubs back. It is a nice way to play with real life friends and family.

We appreciate you Duolingo but it's nice to mingle with people you become friends in the Club. Please can we have it back?

Leaderboards has been very stressful so far. I’m always competing to get the 20 lingots at the end of the week, but the slight catch: there’s 50 other people also competing. This is not like clubs at all, which used some fun exercises and a leaderboard, and the clubs didn’t change . But now, leaderboards is serious competition from my view, and it just takes the fun out of the whole fun filled learning of Duolingo when you see someone with 1000 XR more than you.

I hate the new leaderboards and would like the option to opt out of them. I would also like the clubs back.

Please, dont close this oppotunity , leave clubs for pupils!
