From 1997 to 1998, film composer Hans Zimmer composed six hours of music for Terrence Malick's 1998 film The Thin Red Line. Four hours of that was recorded. About one-and-a-half hours of it was used in the film by Malick. 45 minutes of it made it to the official soundtrack. We the music-buying public would love to have the opportunity to hear the rest of this amazing music that served not only as a vital part of the film, but also as a pinnacle body of music in Hans Zimmer's career. Thank you.
