Mike and Missy are so dedicated to the kids. My grand daughter loves them, and is upset about what is happening. Please reconsider.

I’ve known Mike & Missy for many years. They have been involved with their children’s many sporting teams. In all the years, they have been fair, levelheaded and children’s best interests in mind. After many years of being involved in sports without issue, this seems suspect for both to receive yellow cards. This seems targeted and purposefully malicious for someone else’s gain at their expense.

When I found out what the CSA board had done to Michael & Missy it broke my heart. Michael has been involved with Coventry Soccer since he was 6yrs old as a player. As I coached him through his younger years he always exhibited a passion for soccer whether it be indoor, outdoor, recreational, competitive, high school and adult leagues. Other coaches he had also witnessed the same. I am told that Missy also had the same passion and saw that for myself when she was an adult. When Michael’s son was 6 Michael started coaching in CSA and they both coached their daughter when she turned 6. Michael has not only coached for 9yrs but was the Registrar for 3yrs, Director of Coaching for 2yrs, coached multiple futsal teams, ran futsal clinics, filled in for other coaches in their absence and has 5 coaching licenses/certificates. They also introduced other coaches to an in town private school where their children attend so they could gain access to the gym to hold their practices. As coaches, they offered rides to and from practices and games for those that needed it. On the field when a player was down due to an injury Missy would offer her assistance and expertise as a 20+yrs pediatric RN not only to her players but to opposing coaches for their players as well. They hold practice 3 nights a week but all 3 are not mandatory and no attendance is taken. The 3 practices are just meant to afford flexibility because children have so many activities. So you can clearly see between practices and games for both age groups Michael & Missy eat, sleep and breathe soccer! But the CSA board clearly has ulterior motives and “is going in another direction” and clearly not a good one. In the end it is the children on the team and Michael & Missy’s children who have suffered. Thank you to all the parents, players, family members and true friends who have supported Michael and Missy.

Mike and Missy have been a big part of our lives in and out of soccer they are both dedicated and committed to their families and the family’s of our community they have both put so much effort and passion into their community and should not be overlooked as both Mike and Missy’s dedication throughout many years show there passion for not only soccer but the interaction with their community friends and family it is not something many people have the time or opportunity to do and I think this would be a horrible decision and mistake to push them out for some referees decision to yellow card them during what can be a extremely emotional and personal decision depending on the situation.

I feel that a board having the power to strip coaches who I am sure volunteer their time to help children develop their skills in a sport that they have played and love is ridiculous. Individuals don’t want to coach in this day and age and who blames them because of this- and these two actually still want to coach to help out the young people of their community. Why doesn’t the board put their power into things that could help the young people learn the sport and develop as players instead of hurting them. I have watched coaches be issued cards or kicked out of events for asking a question - investigate the issue before being heavy handed. Stop the nonsense

I can’t believe that I have to sign something like this for youth sports. These 2 coaches have gone above and beyond for years and years. Dedicated to the town of Coventry since they played as children. I honestly didn’t believe this when I heard it. So I encourage this board to take a back seat and listen to the people signing this.

Sad way this CSA group is going. Less and less kids every year, now this. Two amazing coaches who stand up for their players. So stupid.

Mike and Missy were my son's coaches they taught him the game and gave him skills he will take forever. I am in favor of them being reinstated.

I think these two fine upstanding citizens are crazy for wanting to continue to coach as people/parents are ridiculous when it comes to sports. This town/organization doesn’t deserve to have them volunteer their valuable time or energy but if Mr. & Mrs. Mansour want to continue making a difference in Youth soccer in this town then you all should be grateful and reinstate them.

The growth these girls have shown over the past few years under Mike and Missy has been awesome to witness. I've personally seen 2 individuals who dedicate their time to coach these girls in nothing short of professional. Compared to other coaches I've seen I would call them shy! They are calm, they don't yell. They have complete control of the team. The situations were yellow cards were given are completely wrong. One yellow card was given by a ref that was being yelled at. When the ref turned around she gave the card to Mike.
