Please make the ECS Costa Mesa office Dog-Friendly

We, the undersigned, as employees of ECS working in the 535
Anton office building, do formally request that ECS Leadership and 535 Metro
Center Building Management consider allowing us to bring our well-behaved
dogs into the office on Friday, June 20, 2014 (National Bring Your Dog to Work
Day) as a trial run for allowing our office to
become dog-friendly. We will submit to a highly regulated program to ensure
that ECS and 535 Metro Center are not responsible or liable for any
"accidents." We believe that allowing employees to bring their dogs
into the office on designated days will:
◊ Create
a more productive work environment because team members will no longer have to worry about
rushing home to care for their dogs
◊ Force employees to take regular
breaks to walk their dogs outside; studies have proven that taking 10 minute
breaks every few hours allows for employees to return to their work more focused and refreshed
◊ Provide a low-cost (to ECS) benefit that will
save ECS employees hundreds of dollars per month on dog walkers, day care
and/or boarding services
◊ Create a lower-stress, more positive work environment, leading to better overall productivity; studies have proven
that interacting with dogs can lower the heart-rate
substantially
