Pr David and Amy deserve to have more time in our church, the short time they have spent with us has made a huge impact on the community. They have dedicated a lot of their time inspiring the young people in so many ways. If they leave so sudden it may deflate their enthusiasm. Pr David is a very kind and makes huge efforts to get to know people on a personal basis, he needs more time to nature the special spiritual relationships that he has created . Please kindly reconsider his placement.

we have all been very blessed by pastor David cherry and his wife Amy in the teens this year at waitara. 1 year isn't enough for the ministry they have started. They have made a difference to the teens and made us all become closer. To take them away now would devistate us all! Please let them stay

We we blessed to get David and Amy this year. During this year David had become an integral part of the church. From day one he tried to remember each persons name and now that he has the Conference wants to move him on. One role David has filled that had been lacking in the past is his mentoring of the youth. David and Amy have proved very popular with this group and I fear they will be very disheartened by this decision.

There is still work to be done, 1 year is just not enough to see the greatest potential that both Amy and David have brought to our Church. In the short time of one year they have made a great impact that our church is so greatful for, to see them go so soon would be hard for a lot of us.

Pastor David & Amy Cherry have only been with us a short time, but their impact on the young people of our church, the local community, and me personally has been huge. I truly believe that God has a plan which we do not always understand, but this move by the Grester Sydney Conference to 'call' David to another church will negatively impact all the hard work they have invested into our community and church. I respectfully ask that the decision to move Pr Cherry and Amy from Waitara church be prayerfully reconsidered as many lives will be impacted by this change. God bless.

we are praying that this decision of Pr David and Amy Cherry's transfer will be reconsidered as we have not even had them for a year which is the usual rule of being our local assistant Church Pastor. He is supposetdly to be with us for 3 years and yet his getting transferred to another church in such short notice. i think it's not fair at all. Please let him stay with us in his rightful term of 3 years. Both of them. We need them here.

Please let Pastor David and Amy stay! In the short time that they have been at our church they have made such a powerful impact. I myself being part of the teen/ youth have found that David and Amy have made such a big impact and to see them leave so soon would be so hard for that part of the church community. I was also about to see if David would do bible studies with me to prepare me for baptism as he and Amy have both really made a difference in my life. I wanted to have my studies with them but now if they move i wont be able to. I was very disappointed when i heard you had moved David and Amy so soon after they had arrived. There is still so much they need to finish off and its so unfair you have taken them only after one year without any notice to us, they have been such a blessing for our church and the community and especially the teen/ youth. Please reconsider your decision to move David, Waitara needs David and Amy they bring so much to our church.

Please, pretty please let Pr David & Amy stay in Waitara Church longer. It's really unfair for them & for us to see them go too soon. Please reconsider about this issue as this will cause a massive change to the church & to the church's scheduled activities. Hoping and praying for your kind consideration.

Let our pastor stay, David and Amy are a true blessing to our church, over the time they have been at Waitara they have done an excellent job with the youth, I am new to the SDA church, for the past 8 months Pr David has been meeting with me once a week at night going over the doctrines that are essential to the beliefs of the SDA church, his knowledge in the church and Christianity is excellent with my own personal growth in the faith only stronger with the help of him, i see Pr David not as just a Pastor of a church but a mentor and a good mate who has a great ear to listen to things i have going on in my life, They both are true assets for us to have around, There time has been cut to short, they have done so much in so little time, and an extension in there stay is necessary, not just for the church but for their own wellbeing as their lives have been thrown into turmoil as it can be a very emotional and stressing time when a life changing decision like this is made for people. Once again an extension is necessary Let our Pastor stay.

Please prayerfully reconsider moving Ptr David and Amy Cherry to another church. Having them at Waitara SDA church has been truly a blessing to young and old alike. Their ministry has brought new light, colour and life to the church. To have them for a little bit longer would help bring more souls to Jesus.

I have known pastor David for less than a year and his love and kindness to work for God is a true inspiration for me and others in the church. In the past year, he's worked closely with the youth from Waitara Church and made home visits when people were sick, I know this because I was one of them. I been a member of Waitara church for a few years, and in all honesty, I have never seen the church better than now, that's because of David and his love for God and others. I'm truly sad to see David and Amy go, because Waitara Church will never be the same spiritually. Don't take Pastor David, we need him here.

Please reconsider, as this petition states. David and Amy haven't even been at Waitara for a year yet, and most associate pastors have been here for two years. Also, David has made a huge impact in our church and our community and it would be tragic to see him moved elsewhere. Thank you for giving this some extra consideration. God bless!

While I membership currently lies at Avondale College, I travel to Waitara regularly for Bible study, church service and the programs that have been an abslute blessing for all and a big part of that comes to the work of both David and Amy. It would be horrible to see the work that they have only just begun here, especially the Yes We Care program driven by them reaching out to the community be packed up and moved away.

Please prayerfully and carefully consider this dicision to move Pr David and Amy. It does not seem logical at all to move them so soon after they both have put in an emence effort to connect and assimilate into our church. Personally I have been both touched and blessed by their ministry at Waitara and truly believe they need to stay to complete the great things they have started. I believe it will have a devastating effect on the church as well as the people they have connected with in the community if they were pulled away so soon. Please reconsider this decision as too many people will be affected in a negative way

Please reconsider moving Pr David and Amy. Our church members, both young and old have been blessed immensely by their ministry. New contacts are coming in from the community as stated previously, and it would not be fair on them to suddenly sever that connection. This seems all so sudden, there must be another way.
