I really hope & pray that this call can be 'recalled'. Pr David has been a huge blessing to the youth ministry of Waitara - and especially the teens. I struggle to understand why the conference has to move someone so soon - especially when we usually get interns for at least 2 years. Pr David and Amy really should be given more time in our church. I know we can't keep them forever - but less than 1 year to do ministry is not enough - especially when God is blessing so much! Waitara needs the pastoral care that they bring.

Our church has been really Blessed by David and Amy Cherry and we would love them to stay longer at Waitara Church. I was sad to hear that they would be moving to another church so soon.

I have grown to love and appreciate the labour Pr David & Amy Cherry has done in the cause of our Lord at Waitara. Please allow David and Amy to continue thier internship with Waitara. It has not been one year and they deserve to be given the opportunity to finish what they started at Waitara.

We have not even had Pr David for a year.
He has contacts that are coming from our community who aren't even Christian. He's started up Creative activities, teens and youth Bible studies, he visits everyone!
He is loving our church, and is being so pastoral to us.
Please prayerfully reconsider moving him. This is not fair. Doesn't make sense. I believe there are other options. We need David (and Amy) especially in this next year.

Please let David & Amy stay :0) we were just getting to know them, and developing new friendships with us. My husband who is not an Adventist liked David and Amy and that's BIG for him. We need more time with them :)

I have known pastor David for less than a year and his love and kindness to work for God is a true inspiration for me and others in the church. In the past year, he's worked closely with the youth from Waitara Church and made home visits when people were sick, I know this because I was one of them. I been a member of Waitara church for a few years, and in all honesty, I have never seen the church better than now, that's because of David and his love for God and others. I'm truly sad to see David and Amy go, because Waitara Church will never be the same spiritually. Don't take Pastor David, we need him here.

Please reconsider moving Pr David and Amy. Our church members, both young and old have been blessed immensely by their ministry. New contacts are coming in from the community as stated previously, and it would not be fair on them to suddenly sever that connection. This seems all so sudden, there must be another way.
