Please let our pastor stay longer. David and Amy has been a blessing to all of us and they loved by all. We all need them. They're very good with the teens, and the young people. I am a mother of a young child. it is nice to see our pastor and his wife so involved with the young ones and really cares. So please reconsider.

Is there any way Pr David and Amy can stay with us longer? They have been with us such a short time. They have are such a blessing in our church and our community. One aspect is with our teens. We have needed leadership for our teens and they took that on and are so loved and respected by that group. They are not only involved with the teens but do so much for our church at a time when we need it most. I know you have prayerfully considered moving him but I am asking please reconsider moving him at this time in our church life. God Bless.

"I'm not sure why it's a conference characteristic to bring in a major change when something is going so well. Such is the case with this attempt to move Pr David and Amy. We realise we can't have them forever, but one year isn't enough for them nor for us. I feel as though it wasn't a prayerful decision, as it was made in haste, and to our knowledge, the church wasn't consulted. David and Amy have been such a blessing to our church. They have started up things that haven't been happening in a long time (or ever!) at waitara. We got them at a time when our church really needed them. I won't echo what everyone else has already said here. But please prayerfully reconsider your decision, otherwise more than one church will suffer".

I really enjoy coming to waitara church especially if Pr David is around and taking the sermon. When he is not at the front, he is always at the door greeting everyone with a big smile, shaking people's hands and wishing everyone a happy sabbath. He is a lovely person to talk with. Now hearing about this sad news about Pr David and Amy leaving waitara church too soon, i really hope and pray that this decision will be reversed. Hoping that Pr David and Amy will be allowed to stay at Waitara church and bring more souls to Jesus.

I am not a member of Waitara church yet but I am devastated with the news that David and Amy will be leaving Waitara. I come to this church because my family attends this church. I generally do not wants visits but it would be nice if the pastor make an effort to be friendly and this David has done. It is also refreshing to see his wife Amy being very supportive and work just as hard. They are a team working for the church. I also heard a lot of good things that they have been doing for the teens. Please do not leave the teens bereft again. They have been largely ignored and now they are blossoming under David and Amy. Please do not do this to our teens!

I have been coming to Waitara church in the last two years but I have not had a conversation with any of the pastors until David came along. he made an effort to befriend me, talks to me and has even asked to visit me! He is very nurturing and really lives as he preaches. He genuinely cares about people like Jesus. We need a spiritual and caring pastor. Please let him and Amy stay and continue their ministry at Waitara.

I am not yet a member because I wanted to make sure I transfer my membership to a church that cares. I have finally decided that Waitara is the one because David has taken the time to befriend and talk to us. We need a nurturing pastor like David. Please let David and Amy stay.

I would like to join the chorus of request that the conference prayerfully reconsider their decision. David and Amy are doing a great job in nurturing the flock at Waitara especially with the young teens of which I have three in my family. We need David and Amy to stay please.

We thanked God that He gave us the gift of David and Amy at a critical period. My family has been personally blessed by the ministry of David and Amy. I have two nieces, aged 15 and 18, who had lost interest in church but David and Amy befriended, ministered and nurtured them back. They now regularly have Bible Studies with David and Amy every Friday night. They feel they belong to the church and that someone cares and the faces of these people who care are David and Amy's. My whole family is devastated, my nieces are saddened. My family would like to request that the conference prayerfully reconsider their decision. There are so many souls that will suffer if David and Amy will be moved now. Please let us keep him.

David is a true Pastor with a genuine love of people. David and Amy care for members who are going through difficult times & nurture them spiritually. I have felt truly supported and encouraged by their ministry to me personally this past year even though I have not been able to attend Waitara now for some time. I would be very sad to see David & Amy leave after such a short stay. God knows what a blessing they are and how needed they are at Waitara at this time. I hope you will reconsider your decision to move them so soon.

Pr David and Amy need more time at Waitara so they can at least nurture some of the wonderful programs they've implemented and also have time to mentor other church members to carry on with the work. This will not only be good for Waitara church and the community, but also for Pr David and Amy as the experience will allow them to grow in their ministry. Its too soon for them to be moved. Please allow them at least another 2 years.

Pastor David has made a big difference in the little time that he has been at waitara, im very sure he and amy will be a blessing to another church but I feel robbed them leaving soo early, in my opinion their friends, church family and the community needed more time with them or atleast more notice.
