We are signing this petiton because we really don't want that our middle school change from Mills Park to West Cary Biddle.

It is a well known problem that Breckenridge is the thorn in the side of Wake county public school system. It's time again to pull together and remind these people that Breckenrige has a large population and large voting community. We deserve a school close in proximity for our children.

I do not want my sons' future middle school changed.

We don't want to be shuffling between school choices. When the Mills park school is opened they took our kids from west cary and now they are refusing us. This is not acceptable. Our subdivision is going through this with elementary middle and High. We would like to have stability. same thing happened with Cedarfork.

Several years ago, when my boy is fit for the elementary school, Cedar Fork is capped and we have to change to Alston Ridge, which is 4 miles away from our home. In contrast, Cedar Fork is only less than 1 mile away. Now, my boy is at 5th grade, and he would be attending middle school next year. I don't want history repeats itself. Please keep Mills Park Middle School as our kids' base middle school for Breckenridge residents.

Changing the base middle school for Breckendridge residents is extremely unfair for the children alone! Extracurricular activities will be affected as well as transportation (4 miles vs. 8 miles to school). We should not be an escape goat for high population and overcrowded schools! Give us real solutions not temporary bandages that will affect us negatively in the long run.

Please consider even bigger impacts on those homeowners who don't even have children ... ask any realtor and they will tell you that with West Cary Middle School as our base school it will greatly affect our property values. Not to mention the turmoil it brings to the families that do have children who will lose educational, extra-curricular and sports opportunities by losing Mills Park Middle School as our base school
