This isn't an issue on which Middle School is better as I know just as many kids getting a great education at West Cary as Mills Park. This is an issue about providing stability to families in Breckenridge and avoiding significant traffic issues going to West Cary vs. Mills Park. When considering traffic, don't just consider the distance, consider that 54 and Aviation Pkwy are 2 lane roads with constant traffic delays. 8.3 miles is much longer from a time perspective. The farther away the kids go, the less involved the parents and kids become in after school activities, and supporting administration, teachers, and staff.

Breckenridge would like to keep Mills Park Middle Schools due to proximity, better educational experience, more extra-curricular activities, traffic, and other reasons.

The main purpose of moving to the Morrisville area is to ensure my son gets the best education in Wake County (base on EOG 3,5,8th and High School scores). In addition to the schools, the amount of time spent in transporting the children and also increase to the already stressed and congested streets of Morrisville will be an impact to all residents. In addition, consideration for schools should have been kept stable for those children already scheduled to attend those schools and the impact should've been on the new developments approved by the county/town planners, not the already established communities and residents.

I have a student at MPMS, it is convenient and reasonable distance. Build no more houses in Morrisville without building schools and widening roads in this neighborhood first.

Please keep Mills Park Middle School for the Breckenridge neighborhood. The reason we bought in this area was based on the schools that were assigned and no other reason. Mills Park was the soul purpose of moving here.

Stability for our children is so important! Please do not ask them to adjust to a new school at this critical time in their development.
