There are many type animals as pets if you have noticed there are mini goats pigs etc.. They should not have to let them go because they are hens

In todays age of kids addicted to their phone's. I more than support ,infact i encourage more parents to introduce their kids to humanity including animals, nature and playing outdoors. Way to go taylors , i wish my kids had this oppurtunity, but we live in a subdivision that would not allow this.

I lived in the subdivision with these people . They are the most caring group I know . There the first to help the school for the spring fair . Jason coached my son's baseball team . There kind caring and I think someone make a grave mistake. Thinking that they shouldn't have there hens . It's not hurting anyone

I just live down the street and wasn't aware there were chickens near by. There are far more important things going on in our neighbourhood than 3 pet chickens. Let the the children keep their pets.

Don't let one upset snowflake ruin valuable life lessons for these children. Make it work Halifax, you have the power. The people have the power, that is.

Good luck. We have ‘mind your own business’ neighbors too so I sympathize and hope you get to keep your hens.

In a day and age where we are trying to be local, help our children learn where food comes from this is sad. Come in Halifax be leader not a laggard!

Oh for the love of God, this is just cruel to both the pets and the family. Why just why do they need to be taken? They are doing so much good and no harm! What a mean neighbor and a ridiculous by law!

Let them keep their hens. Unless they are hurting someone, leave them be. This is the only home and life they have known! They have feelings too.
