When people are raising chickens and sharing eggs, I say there giving back to the community. Have a heart, leave the chickens with there human family.

This shouldn’t even be necessary. Pets who are clean, well cared for and who provide food should be allowed in HRM.

HRM should join other progressive municipalties within Canada who are allowing and promoting backyard hens.

I usualy dont do the online petition thing, but I made an exception for this. Leave the chickens alone, they are awesome for getting rid of harmful ticks and vermin.

What is wrong with having a few hens, they take care of them and they are good for keeping bugs down in numbers, we should all invest in some hens to eat the ticks before we all become prisoners to these nasty bugs, if the City or Province are not going to do anything about the tick situation, than maybe we should take matters into our own hands. Leave these poor people alone. Do something more constructive and important instead of torturing these people.
